ADVIT OÜ · IT management as a service and consulting

An IT partner who helps you make sound technology decisions

I help growing companies choose the right cloud services and partners while keeping cybersecurity and day-to-day IT under control. With ADVIT, you always work directly with the person doing the work — my name is Urmas Kungla.

19+ years in IT — as an IT manager and project manager, from an international group to local small businesses

ADVIT turns scattered IT into a coherent, manageable system

When ADVIT can help

When IT has grown faster than its management

Many companies with 5–50 people do not need a full-time IT manager. Their systems work, but nobody owns the whole picture. Typical situations include:

  • It is unclear whether the current cloud services and technology partners are the right choices.
  • Accounts and access rights are scattered; Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 is poorly configured and unmanaged.
  • A basic cybersecurity level and practical information-security routines have not been established.
  • There is no dependable point of contact for incidents and technical problems.

I map these situations, put them in order and, when needed, remain the single point of contact (SPOC) who keeps IT operational and documentation current.

Services

How I can help

The main focus is an ongoing partnership; additional services are usually one-off projects. In either case, one person remains accountable for the outcome.

How I work

Three steps

Before making major changes, we need a clear picture. That is why I always begin with an assessment.

  1. I assess the current situationSecurity, partners, contracts and documentation — producing an honest view of the actual state and risks.
  2. I create a practical planPriorities and concrete steps based on business needs and budget: what to fix now and what can wait.
  3. I implement and maintain itI carry out the changes, document the solutions and, by agreement, remain responsible for your company’s IT.

Who is behind ADVIT

Urmas Kungla

IT manager and IT consultant

Through ADVIT, I provide IT management and consulting to growing companies. I do most of the work myself; where a narrow specialist skill is needed, I bring in a trusted expert network that I coordinate — while retaining accountability for the whole.

  • IT management in an international environment — Baltic-wide responsibility in the energy and industrial sectors, including teams, processes, vendors and SLAs.
  • Critical public-sector information systems — responsibility for operations and development projects from requirements mapping through implementation.
  • Web and e-commerce — WordPress, Shopify and Moodle projects, coordinating development teams across several countries.

Frequently asked questions

Before you get in touch

I am not a technical person. Will I understand what ADVIT does?

Yes. I explain things in plain language and handle the technical side myself — your job is to describe what is not working. Clients have even called me an “IT therapist”: they gain confidence that their IT issues are being taken care of.

Is ADVIT suitable for a larger company?

Yes. My background is in international IT management, including process, vendor and compliance management for ISO 27001 and NIS2. I can work as an interim IT manager, project manager or the person accountable for the company’s IT.

What does a monthly engagement mean?

A defined monthly scope for IT management and support: decisions, administration, monitoring and the role of a single point of contact (SPOC). Scope and terms are agreed according to your needs.

Can you help with NIS2 and ISO 27001?

I assess the current situation, prepare the necessary documentation and implement practices that meet the requirements and can actually be followed.
